The Preschool Program (Ages 3-5) will apply an evidence-based specialized curriculum developed for students with learning differences. The Program uses a multidisciplinary approach incorporating applied behavior analysis principles, speech/language therapy, and sensory strategies across the school day. We use a total communication approach encouraging our students to express their needs, wants, and interests. Our teachers use small-group and whole-group instructions to implement curricula as well as IEP goals. The Program curriculum focuses on reading/language arts, math, science, and social studies.

OUR MISSION
OUR VISION
The mission of Treasure Coast School for Autism is to provide innovative education and behavioral support to empower individuals with autism.
All individuals with autism lead fulfilling lives.
Our Story
The Treasure Coast School for Autism was founded to meet a growing and critical need for high-quality, autism-specific education in the Treasure Coast area. With support from St. Lucie Public School District, and building on the proven success of the Palm Beach School for Autism, this new campus expands access to specialized services for students and families.
Palm Beach School for Autism was originally created by a group of parents seeking better educational opportunities for their children on the autism spectrum. Recognizing that existing programs did not fully meet their children’s needs, they partnered with experts in autism education to develop a model grounded in individualized instruction, evidence-based practices, and integrated therapeutic support.
Today, that same model serves as the foundation for the Treasure Coast School for Autism. Our program is highly individualized and data-driven, with each student receiving a customized education plan tailored to their strengths and needs. Students engage in academic subjects such as math, science, and language arts while also developing essential life skills, including communication, socialization, and self-care.
Therapies such as speech, occupational, physical, and behavioral, mental health supports are embedded throughout the school day, ensuring a comprehensive approach to each child’s development. Small class sizes and a collaborative team of educators and specialists create a nurturing environment where students can build confidence, develop independence, and thrive.
A cornerstone of our model is community connection. We partner with local businesses and organizations to provide real-world experiences and opportunities that prepare students for life beyond the classroom, while also increasing awareness and understanding of autism within the community.
The Treasure Coast School for Autism continues this legacy of innovation and advocacy, providing a supportive, inclusive environment where every student is empowered.
