Eligibility & Enrollment
Eligibility
Treasure Coast School for Autism offers specialized educational services tailored to students on the autism spectrum, Preschool (age 3) through 2nd grade for its opening year. Each school year, a grade level will be added. Our admissions process is designed to ensure that every student receives the appropriate support and resources.
For our K-2 program, we admit students with autism spectrum disorder as the primary eligibility listed on their current Individualized Education Program (IEP). Our Preschool program accepts students with autism spectrum disorder and developmental delay as the primary eligibility on their IEP.
At Treasure Coast School for Autism, we maintain a rolling enrollment, subject to program availability. We do, however, make exceptions in cases where students meet our enrollment criteria and satisfy one of the following additional conditions:
- Siblings: We give priority to siblings of students who are already enrolled in one of our programs, recognizing the importance of family support and continuity.
- Governing Board Members’ Children: Children of members serving on our governing board are also considered for admission.
- Employee and Security Staff Children: We extend admission consideration to the children of our dedicated employees and security staff, acknowledging their commitment to our school community.
